# Module 8: Making Your First Purchase

This is where preparation turns into action: buying your first real stock and getting it ready to send to Amazon.

Most new sellers do this through Retail Arbitrage (buying in shops) or Online Arbitrage (buying from retailer websites), both as a normal customer, no account or application needed. Wholesale is a different model with its own setup, covered later once you're ready to scale.
