# 10.2 Creating a Shipment in Seller Central

Once your products are listed and added to your Amazon inventory (Module 9 covers adding a buy from your SourceSheets Buy List), you're ready to send stock in.

## Step 1: Start a Shipping Plan

In Seller Central, go to **Inventory → Manage FBA Inventory**, select the products you're sending, and choose **Send/Replenish Inventory**. This starts a new shipping plan.

## Step 2: Confirm Ship-From Address

Amazon asks where the stock is shipping from. For most new sellers this is your home address or wherever your supplier is dropping stock. If you're using a prep centre (10.5), this is the prep centre's address instead.

## Step 3: Set Quantities

Enter how many units of each product you're sending. Amazon will tell you whether it wants everything in one shipment or wants it split, this happens automatically based on where Amazon's warehouse capacity is.

## Step 4: Choose Packing Type

You'll be asked whether you're sending **individual products** (each SKU boxed separately) or **case-packed products** (identical multi-packs, less common for arbitrage and wholesale sourcing). Most new sellers doing retail arbitrage, online arbitrage, or general wholesale sourcing will use individual products.

## Step 5: Confirm Shipping Service

Amazon will show you which fulfilment centre(s) your stock has been assigned to, and how many boxes are expected at each. This is also where you choose how you're shipping (covered in 10.4): Amazon's partnered carrier (usually UPS in the UK) or your own carrier.

## Step 6: Print Box Labels

Once everything's confirmed, Amazon generates box labels for you to print and attach, one per box, showing the destination FC and shipment ID. These are separate from the product labels covered in 10.3.

## What Happens After You Submit

Your shipment moves into "Working" status while you prepare and label everything, then "Shipped" once it's collected or dropped off, then "In Transit," "Delivered," and finally "Checked In" once Amazon has received and processed it at the FC.
