# 11.1 Understanding "Inbound → Checked In → Fulfilable"

Once your shipment leaves your hands, Seller Central tracks it through a series of statuses. Knowing what each one means stops you panicking over something that's completely normal.

## Shipped / In Transit

Your boxes are with the carrier, on their way to the FC Amazon assigned them to. Tracking is available through the shipment page in Seller Central.

## Delivered

The carrier has handed your boxes over to the FC. This doesn't mean Amazon has processed them yet, it just means they've physically arrived.

## Checked In / Receiving

Amazon is working through the boxes, scanning and counting units against what you declared in your shipment plan. This can take anywhere from a few hours to several days depending on how busy the FC is.

## Fulfilable

This is the status you're waiting for. Once stock is marked fulfilable, it's actually available to sell, it'll show as in-stock on your listing and can be picked, packed, and shipped to a customer.

## Why There's Sometimes a Gap

It's common to see a gap between units delivered and units showing as fulfilable, Amazon doesn't process an entire shipment instantly. If a discrepancy shows up (fewer units marked received than you sent), give it a few more days before investigating, checking-in delays are far more common than genuine loss or damage. If a real shortage persists after that, Seller Central has a process for filing a reimbursement claim.

## What to Do While You Wait

Nothing, really. This is a good time to get your next batch of products evaluated and ready to order, rather than refreshing the inventory page repeatedly.
