# 11.5 Introducing Repricers

A repricer automatically adjusts your price in response to competitor moves, so you don't have to manually check and reprice listings yourself. It's not something you need on day one, but it's worth understanding early since it becomes genuinely useful as your product count grows.

## Why You Don't Need One Yet

With a handful of products, checking prices manually is manageable, and it keeps you close to what's actually happening on each listing, which is valuable while you're still building experience with the 7 Gates model (Module 7). A repricer removes that visibility in exchange for convenience, a trade worth making later, not immediately.

## What a Repricer Actually Does

Most repricers let you set rules: match the lowest price, beat it by a set amount, stay above a minimum margin you define, or hold price when you're the only seller. Once configured, it adjusts automatically, which matters most on listings with a lot of seller churn (the kind of competitive pressure covered in Module 7's Gate 6), where prices can move several times a day.

## What to Look For When You're Ready

When you do start evaluating repricing tools, the things that actually matter are: how tightly you can set a margin floor so it never prices you into a loss, how quickly it reacts to competitor changes, whether it integrates cleanly with your existing SourceSheets and Seller Central setup, and whether the pricing model makes sense at your volume (some charge per listing, others take a percentage of sales). We'll cover specific tools and how to set one up once you're at the stage where it's worth adopting.

## When to Revisit This

A good signal it's time to look at a repricer: you're regularly checking prices on more than a handful of listings, or you're noticing you've lost the Buy Box on something simply because you didn't react fast enough to a competitor's price change.
